Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing an acting career when she enrolled in Stanford University. At the beginning of her career, she had parts in films like Pleasantville and Election. But it came in Elle Woods' portrayal in Legally Blonde which marked a significant pivotal moment in her career. Witherspoon was honored with the Academy Award, in 2005, for her role as Walk the Line. In the comedy The Invisible Man, 2003 she debuted in a major feature film. Following that, she was on various TV programs like House of Lies Whitney or Better Call Saul. She has also appeared in films such as The Dictator and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. A talented painter, she has been featured in a number of galleries.
